4.5 The student will

a) determine common multiples and factors, including least common multiple and greatest common factor;

b) add and subtract fractions having like and unlike denominators that are limited to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12, and simplify the resulting fractions, using common multiples and factors;

c) add and subtract with decimals; and

d) solve single-step and multistep practical problems involving addition and subtraction with fractions and with decimals.

**PLAY MATH WAR WITH YOUR CHILD TO HELP MASTER BASIC MULTIPLICATION, ADDITION, AND SUBTRACTION**

Mrs. Stiltner has a new remediation program called REFLEX will is part of a grant she received to help students master basic facts.  Students have their login and password but please let Mrs. Stiltner or I know if they have lost it.  This is a program which may be done at home.  Students may also continue to log onto Study Island to continue practicing these skills or reinforce what they've mastered.  The county has paid for your child to have access to this site.  Please use it at home when appropriate.

 Still continuing to practice rounding/estimating as well as additional and subtraction word problems.  Students may log onto Study Island to help master these skills or to reinforce what they have learned already.
